Lynette's apron

Okay, I admit it!!! I have a hard time keeping surprises under wraps! I made this apron today for Lynette which was suppose to be for her 40th birthday, (Sept. 22) but I couldn't resist giving it to her when she came over before work tonight. (that is why she is wearing her scrubs!) I loved the earth tones in this material. I am having lots of fun sewing. If my sisters and nieces are reading this blog, I will be sending your surprises soon! ;o)

This is so cute too! You should start a little side business! :)

OOOHHH, what a fabulous idea! I agree, you should start a side business. I would love to place a few orders if you are interested. Let me know your prices. I looked all over for my apron and found it about 10 or 12 years ago at kmart in the gardening area. Now, depending on who is cooking gets to use it. There are times when Zion, Tanner, and I are all cooking, who ever gets to it first uses it. I would love to find one for all three of the boys as they all like to cook. Zion is majoring in culinary arts in the hope of becomming a chef, starting Ball State on 8/20, so I will definitely be in the market for one soon. (Preferrably in a "man-ly" fashion.) It is truly wonderful having this computer back again!

Oh it's beautiful! I love it! If you ladies at church ever get together and do a sewing class or something I definitely want to take part in it! The drive won't matter........I just want to learn so badly! :)
